The course will run for 4 weeks on Saturdays at 11.00 am, starting 24.09.2015
GROUP: Min group size 4, max group size 8. 
AGE:  6-9 years
TIME: 90 min/class, once a week for 4 weeks. 
PRICE: Full 4-week session (€72). Drop-ins are €25 and only permitted if spots are available.

Workshops will be based on entertaining experiments conducted by young researchers themselves under supervision of experienced scientist. During the course young experimenters will study micro-organisms, learn about microscopy and state of matter, grow crystals and find out about molecular gastronomy. These entertaining activities aim to stimulate natural curiosity and raise interest not only in science and its methods, but also in critical thinking and desire to know more about things around us.
The first workshop starts at 11:00 Saturday September 24th, each workshop lasts about 1.5 hours.
About the teacher: Olesya Chayka is a Biologist and an Environmental Chemist. She was born and grew up in Russia. After  graduation from Novosibirsk State University, Olesya went to Münster, Germany, to work and write her PhD thesis in Molecular Biology. Then she moved to London where she worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at University College London and Brunel University specialising in cancer research.
Three years after her daughter was born, Olesya moved to Berlin tired of noisy and chaotic London. Here she began long-term nurturing project «BubbleScience». The aim of the project is to awake interest in Science using natural children's curiosity and fun interactive experiments. Olesya loves to work with children and she has plenty of ideas for her classes. There is always a place for art and creativity at her workshops.
